REMOVAL |
Remove the under cover.
Lower the vehicle.
Remove the radiator.
Remove the crankshaft position sensor.
Remove the V-belts.
Remove the belt tensioner.
Remove the crankshaft pulley by using ST.
STÂ 32005163 CRANK PULLEY WRENCH
Remove the water pump.
Remove the timing belt guide. (MT model)
Remove the crankshaft sprocket.
Remove the bolts which install the oil pump onto cylinder block.

If disassembling or inspecting the oil pump, loosen the plug of relief valve before removing the oil pump. |
Remove the oil pump by using flat tip screwdriver.
Important | ||
Be careful not to scratch the mating surfaces of cylinder block and oil pump. |
