Measure the neutral position switch resistance.

•	Saab 9-2X 2.5i Linear Gear shift position Terminal No. Specified resistance Neutral position 1 and 2 Less than 1 Ω Other positions More than 1 MΩ

•	Saab 9-2X 2.0T Aero Gear shift position Terminal No. Specified resistance Neutral position 1 and 3 Less than 1 Ω Other positions More than 1 MΩ

If NG, replace the neutral position switch.
