REMOVAL

/ 9-2X (9346) / 2005 / 4. Transmission / DIFFERENTIALS / Rear Differential Member / Adjustment/Replacement / REMOVAL

Set the vehicle on a lift.

Disconnect the ground cable from battery.

Move the selector lever or gear shift lever to “N”.

Release the parking brake.

Loosen the wheel nuts.

Jack-up the vehicle and support it with study racks.

Remove the wheels.

Remove the rear exhaust pipe and muffler.

Saab 9-2X 2.5i Linear

and

Saab 9-2X 2.0T Aero

and

Remove the rear differential front member.

Note

When removing the rear differential front member, work the removal procedure as rear differential.

Remove the differential rear member.
