Expansion tank
| Expansion tank | 
| 1. | Open the drain plug and drain the coolant. Unscrew the expansion tank filler cap to speed this up. | |
| 2. | Detach the upper radiator hose from the expansion tank. | |
| 3. | Unplug the level sensor connector. | |
| 4. | Remove the attaching bolt for the expansion tank. | |
| 5. | Lift up the expansion tank and detach the lower radiator hose. | |
| To fit | 
 
   
   | 1. | Attach the lower radiator hose and refit the expansion tank. | |
| 2. | Refit the expansion tank retaining bolt and plug in the level sensor connector (certain variants). | |
| 3. | Attach the upper radiator hose. | |
| 4. | Make sure that the radiator drain plug is tightened. Fill up with coolant and check the system for leaks. | |
| 5. | Fill up and bleed the system as follows:

| • | Fill the system up to the MAX level, fit the pressure cap, start the engine and warm it up at varying rpm until the radiator fan starts. | 
| • | Switch off the engine and top up as necessary to the MAX level. |
