start the fault diagnostic procedure.
Symptom: Cars with 1-speed radiator fan:
Fan runs continuously (also with ignition OFF).
Battery is discharged.
Radiator fan not working, can lead to engine overheating.
Cars with 2-speed radiator fan:
Fan runs at low speed continuously (also with ignition OFF).
Battery is discharged.
Radiator fan operates only at high speed, which may lead to increased engine temperature.
Low Speed Radiator Fan Relay. Short to B+
Low Speed Radiator Fan Relay. Open Circuit / Short to Ground
Fault symptoms
Cars with 1-speed radiator fan:

Conditions
Control module output is monitored and if there is a short-circuit to ground/B+ or in the relay circuit, a diagnostic trouble code will be generated.

The output from the control module can be activated using the diagnostics instrument.
