Middle silencer

To remove



1. Raise the car and loosen the exhaust pipe joints.

2. Bend out the plate sections, remove the rubber mountings and lower the silencer.


To fit



1. Clean the joints.

2. Position the new silencer and fit new rubber mountings if needed. Make sure that no forces or stresses act on the exhaust pipe.

3. Tighten the joints.

Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 lbf ft).

Make sure that there is adequate clearance to parts next to the exhaust system.

4. Bend down the plate sections for the rubber mountings and lower the car.
