Dismantling


1. Raise the car and loosen the exhaust pipe joint.

2. Remove the clips for the rubber mountings.


3. Unhook the rear silencer's rubber mountings and lower away the silencer.


To fit



1. Clean the joint.

2. Offer up the new silencer and hook the new rubber mountings in place.

3. Fit the clips for the rubber mountings.

4. Tighten the joint.


Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 lbf ft).

Make sure that there is adequate clearance to parts next to the exhaust system.

5. Lower the car to the floor.
