The air cleaner is located on the right-hand side of the engine bay.
The air cleaner comprises a rectangular casing (air collector casing), in which an air cleaner filter element is fitted. A cover is fastened over the casing with catches. The cover has a connector for the mass air flow sensor, which is held in place with hose clamps.
The intake air enters through an intake pipe pointing to the rear via a resonator (plastic sound absorption box) before it passes the air cleaner.
