To remove



1. Remove the distributor cap.

2. Remove the rotor by breaking it with a pair of slip joint pliers.

Important

Make sure no parts from the rotor get into the distributor.



To fit



1. Fit a new rotor, apply Loctite 638 part no. (16) 49 04 090, make sure that the rotor locks firmly to the distributor axle.

2. Fit the distributor cap.
