Accelerator pedal
| Accelerator pedal | 
| 1. | Remove the resonating chamber or the cover over the intake manifold. | |
| 2. | Undo the clips and unhook the throttle cable from the link arm and cable mounting. | |
| 3. | Remove the lower section of the dashboard and unhook the throttle cable from the accelerator.   | |
| 4. | Unhook the accelerator pedal's return spring. | |
| 5. | Remove the clips and the bushes. | |
| 6. | Extract the accelerator pedal and remove the return spring. | |
| To fit | 
 
   
   | 1. | Fit the return spring and introduce the accelerator pedal. | |
| 2. | Fit the bushes and fasten the clips. | |
| 3. | Hook the return spring in place and hook the throttle cable onto the accelerator pedal. | |
| 4. | Hook the throttle cable onto the link arm. | |
| 5. | Manual gearbox: Place a 5 mm (0.2 in) spacer on the pedal stop and press the pedal down against the spacer. Turn the adjusting sleeve until the throttle valve is fully open and then turn it back half a turn. Automatic Transmission: Press the pedal down until it rests on the kickdown switch. Turn the adjusting sleeve until the throttle valve is fully open and then turn it back half a turn. Be careful to avoid pressing the switch down. | |
| 6. | Release the accelerator and adjust the idling position of the throttle cable by means of the adjusting screw in the upper part of the pedal. The cable should then have a small amount of free play. | |
| 8. | Fit the lower section of the dashboard. | |
