Diaphragm box
| Diaphragm box | 
| 1. | Disconnect the diaphragm box vacuum hose from the boost pressure control valve, BPC. | |
| 2. | Connect the pressure/vacuum pump 30 14 883 to the hose and create a vacuum. Check that the diaphragm box control arm moves. | |
| 3. | Check that the vacuum pressure does not change for 30 seconds. | |
| 4. | Remove the equipment and connect the hose to the boost pressure control valve, BPC. | |
If the control arm does not move, disconnect it from the turbocharger wastegate and check again.
| To remove | 
 
   
   | 1. | Remove the engine cover. | |
| 2. | Remove the heat shields over the turbo charger. | |
| 3. | Remove the clip and lift off the control rod from the arm. | |
| 4. | Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum box. | |
| 5. | Remove the diaphragm box. | |
| To fit | 
 
   
   | 1. | Grease the control arm pin and fit the vacuum box to the induction manifold. Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 lbf ft). | |
| 2. | Connect the vacuum hose to the vacuum unit. | |
| 3. | Adjust the control arm and refit the clip  . | |
| 4. | Refit the heat shield over the turbocharger. | |
| 5. | Refit the engine cover. | |
