Headlamps malfunctioning

Read the instructions below then start the fault diagnostic procedure.

Symptom: Main or dipped beam not working on one or both sides.

Diagnostic help

Check fuses 6, 7, 8, 9, 27 and 15 if they are fitted on your market.

The following values can be read with the diagnostic tool:

-	Light switch position 2 Should show ON when light switch in position 2.

-	High & Low Beam Switch

The following functions can be activated with the diagnostic tool:

-	Main beam relay

-	Dipped beam relay

Check the wiring harness

Jiggle the wiring harness in several places and in various directions to detect intermittent open circuits and short circuits in the wiring harness. Watch the multimeter, diagnostic tool or test lamp during the check.
