Remote control, battery
Remote control, battery |
General |
The remote control is operated by a 3V lithium battery (CR 2032) and in normal use the battery will last for around 3 years. The battery should be changed when the range falls.
For safety reasons, we recommend changing the battery once a year.
Battery warning (low voltage) |
A low battery warning is activated when the remote control battery is becoming weak. Once the warning has been detected 10 times in succession, a CHECK message will be sent on the bus. SID reads this message and displays REPLACE KEY BATTERY to bring the driver's attention to the state of the battery.
Important | ||
When changing the remote control battery or when the car battery has been disconnected, the remote control code must be synchronised with TWICE by pressing one of the remote control buttons 4 times in succession. |
||
Synchronisation is confirmed when the central locking is activated. |
