On delivery of the car, 2 pre-programmed remote control units are supplied. A further 2 remote controls (total 4) can also be obtained for the car. They are programmed using the diagnostic tool.
The number of pre-programmed remote controls can be checked by pressing the TAILGATE button on the remote control when the ignition key is in the ON position. SID will normally display 2 REMOTE KEY for 5 seconds. The number of key transponders is also displayed, e.g. 2 TRANSPDR.
