Differential bearing race, clutch housing

To remove


1. (Petrol) Remove the four screws on the seal retainer. Lift away the screws and seal retainer and remove the O-ring.


2. (Diesel) Knock out the bearing race carefully with a hammer and drift (destructive removal)


Important

Tap the same amount on both sides!



To fit



1. Fit (press in) the new bearing race to the stop with 83 90 122 Drift and 87 91 204 Sleeve, bearing race .

2. (Petrol) Refit the seal ring and O-ring. Tighten the screws to torque alternately.


Tightening torque 22 Nm (16 lbf ft).

3. (Diesel) Fit new seal with 83 90 122 Drift .
