Seal ring and seal retainer - right, petrol

To remove (gearbox out of car)


1. Remove the seal retainer.

2. Press out the sealing ring with 87 91 311 Sleeve, bearings driver shaft and 87 92 236 Fitting speed gear, F35, support .



To fit



1. Press on the sealing ring until it lies against using 87 90 859 Press sleeve , 83 90 312 Drift, bearing race, input shaft and 87 92 236 Fitting speed gear, support . Lubricate the sealing ring and fit a new O-ring.

2. Fit the seal retainer with the four screws. Make sure the O-ring is in place. Tighten alternately.



Tightening torque 22 Nm (16 lbf ft)
