Fault symptoms
Speedometer or cruise-control system not working.
Conditions

•
|
Open circuit or shorting between pin 23 on the
ABS control module and pin 10 on the MIU (K12).
|

•
|
Open circuit or shorting between ABS control module pin 25 and Cruise pin 11.
|
|
•
|
Open circuit or shorting between pin 26 of the ABS control module and pin 39 of the Trionic (Motronic pin 9/EDC 15 pin 9).

Diagnostic help
The wheel-speed reading can be obtained from both the
ABS control module and the control module receiving the signal.
