Replacing brake pipes |
To remove |
1. |
Clean the connections of the damaged brake line.

2. |
Unscrew the brake pipe connecting nipples and any other fastening clips.

3. |
Insert plastic plugs into the open connections and remove the damaged brake line.
|
To fit |
|
1. |
Blow clean inside the new brake pipe with compressed air.
|
2. |
Position the brake line, remove the plastic plugs and tighten the connecting nuts.
Tightening torque: 15 Nm (11 lbf ft) |

4. |
Check all the brake pipe connections for leakage.
