Make sure the wheels are pointing straight ahead before beginning removal. |

Turn the ignition to OFF.
|

| 2. |
Remove the steering wheel airbag, 2 plugs and screws.
|
|
| 3. |
Lift out the airbag module and unplug the connector.
|

| 4. |
Loosen the steering wheel nut but leave it screwed on by a few threads at the top. Pull the steering wheel until it stops against the nut.

Remove the nut and lift off the steering wheel carefully.

| To fit |
| 1. |
Make sure the wheels are pointing straight ahead.
|
|
| 2. |
Put the steering wheel in place.
|
|
| 3. |
Fit the steering wheel nut and tighten it.
Tightening torque: 38 Nm (28 lbf ft).
|
|
| 4. |
Plug in the connectors and fit the airbag module in the steering wheel with two screws and plugs.
