Mount the car in an alignment bench with measuring fixture and cross-measure as necessary.
|

Remove the side panel.
|
3.
|
Cut the rear section of the door frame 35 mm behind the edge of the hole. Cut carefully so that the underlying sill reinforcement is not damaged.

Drill out the spot-welds.
|
5.
|
Knock away the rear section of the door frame and align any deformed metal.
|
6.
|
Cut the new rear section of the door frame.
|
7.
|
Put the rear section of the door frame in place and secure it with some welding clamps.
|
8.
|
Put the side panel in place, close the door and check the fitting.
|
9.
|
Remove the side panel and mark the location for the cut.
|
10.
|
Remove the rear section of the door frame, drill holes for plug welding and cut it at the mark.
|
11.
|
Grind the surfaces to welded on the rear section of the door frame.
|
12.
|
Grind the surfaces to be welded on the body.
|
13.
|
Apply welding primer on the surfaces to be plug and spot-welded. Use Teroson Zinkspray.
|
14.
|
Put the rear section of the door frame in place and secure it with some welding clamps.
|
15.
|
Put the side panel in place, close the door and check the fitting.
|
16.
|
Remove the side panel and spot weld on the rear section of the door frame.
|
17.
|
Plug weld the door frame.
|
18.
|
All weld the joint between the rear section of the door frame and the sill, and seam weld the reinforcement.
|
19.
|
Grind the welds and fit the side panel.
|
20.
|
Remove any remaining welding primer. Welding primer reduces adhesion of paint, filler and sealant.
|
21.
|
Apply primer to all ground surfaces. Use Standox 1K Primer.
|
22.
|
Seal joints and sheet metal flanges with sealant. Use Terostat 1K-PUR.
|
23.
|
Apply anti-corrosion agent to internal surfaces after painting. Use Terotex HV 400.
