Cars in stock should be rectified before delivery.
Owners of cars already delivered must be informed of the fault by a personal communication requesting them to contact their nearest Saab garage as soon as possible for the necessary repairs.

Background |
On certain cars, the fifth bow seal against the soft top may break due to seal pulling from the ends on the fifth bow aluminium flange. The problem may result in water leakage.

Diagnostic procedure |
1. |
Run the soft top so that the fifth bow and the soft top cover are open.

2. |
Check to see if the screws according to point 5 are fitted. If they are, do not perform this campaign.

3. |
Remove the screw that holds the seal in the fifth bow on the left side. Remove the corresponding screw on the right side.

4. |
Distribute the seal symmetrically across the entire bow and make sure that it is fitted along the edge of the bow on both sides.

6. |
Fit the screw that holds the seal on both sides of the bow.
