The fifth bow does not move, the soft top cover stops midway during operation and noise can be detected from the hydraulic system.

Air bubbles in the hydraulic system.

Bleed the hydraulic system, see Bleeding the hydraulic system

The soft top stops halfway during closing or opening.

The hydraulic cylinder rod does not have sufficient ground connection.

An extra ground cable is fitted between the fifth bow mounting and cylinder, see Fitting extra ground cable .

The soft top cannot be operated. In certain cases, it is operable but squeaks are audible. The following diagnostic trouble codes may be generated: B1865, B2015, B2016, B2020, B2021, B2045, B2050, B2051

The arm on the fifth bow intermediate position microswitch is bent.

The soft top cannot be operated or it stops in mid-operation. SID displays the message CHECK SOFT TOP COVER and the following diagnostic trouble codes may be generated: B2025, B2026, B2030, B2031.

The microswitches for the soft top cover latches can cause functional disorders and therefore have been replaced in production with microswitches of higher quality.

The soft top cannot be operated or it stops in mid-operation. Slow movement. Noise. The following diagnostic trouble codes may be generated: B1865, B1870, B2005, B2010, B2015, B2020, B2025, B2030, B2035.

The emergency control valve is not closed.

Close the emergency operation valve.
