Outer roof

The top cover consists of two layers of cloth with a layer of rubber between them. It is folded over the edge of the first bow, secured with double-sided adhesive tape and screwed together with a metal rail. The top cover is secured to the second and third bows with cloth tongues fastened with double-sided adhesive tape and kept in place by the plastic headlining rails, which snap onto the bows. The fourth bow acts only as a support for the outer roof and the cloth is folded over the edge of the fifth bow, where it is secured in a groove by the fifth bow seal. There is a wire along both sides of the outer roof which enables the roof to retain its form even at high speeds.

The electrically heated rear window is fitted with clips to a frame integrated in the outer roof.
