To remove


1. Remove the gas springs from the boot lid.


2. Open the luggage compartment trim by the left rear light and unplug the boot lid wiring harness.

3. Remove the wiring harness grommet from the side panel.

4. Detach the left gas spring from the ball pin by the side panel.

5. Remove the nuts securing the boot lid to the hinges and remove the boot lid with the assistance of another person.


To fit



1. Fit the boot lid and tighten the nuts.

2. Insert the wiring harness in the side panel and fit the grommet.

3. Plug in the wiring harness.

4. Fit the left gas spring to the ball pin by the side panel.

5. Fit the luggage compartment trim.

6. Fit the gas springs to the boot lid.
