To remove |
1. |
Lower the window.
|
2. |
Remove the door trim, see Service Manual 8:2 Interior equipment.

3. |
Remove the plastic water barrier.
Lift out the collision block to increase accessibility. |
4. |
Remove the pull rod between the door handle and door lock from the door side and leave it suspended.

5. |
Remove the trim panel.
|
6. |
Remove the internal seal moulding.
|
7. |
Remove the guide channel retainer screw.
|
8. |
Pull up the seal moulding from the guide channel.
|
9. |
Angle the guide channel up out of the window frame.
|
10. |
Raise the window.
|
11. |
Remove the retainer nut with plate from the rear of the door handle.
|
12. |
It may be necessary to remove the lock, 3 bolts.
|
13. |
Guide out the pull rod, between the outside door handle and lock, from the lock.
|
14. |
Angle out the door handle from the door.

To fit |
Fit in reverse order.
Note | ||
Lubricate the seal moulding with vaseline to facilitate fitting. |
Important | ||
Make sure the water drainage plastic is tight against the inner panel of the door and that it is not damaged. |
