Anti-freeze sensor
Anti-freeze sensor |
The anti-freeze sensor on the evaporator outlet pipe is connected to central control electronics (DICE). The control module is programmed to cut-in the compressor if the temperature read by the sensor is less than +3˚C. When the temperature read by the sensor is above +5˚C, the compressor cuts back in. This prevents freezing and ice build-up on the evaporator.
Diagnosis |
If diagnostic trouble code B2355 is generated in DICE for the anti-freeze sensor, the A/C compressor will not cut-in/cut-out.
