Identify the type of plastic See

Select the appropriate welding wire and set the correct working temperature on the welding pistol so that it corresponds with the type of plastic. See

Hold the component steady and tack it on.

Weld on the component with the welding rod.
|

Allow the weld to cool.

|

Sand the welded joint as necessary.

The plastic identification marking on a radiator can look like this: |

Pa - T 20, where 20 indicates the additive content in percent. Only radiators with max. 30% additive can be welded. Therefore, a radiator with marking PA - T 40, for example, cannot be welded. |
