To remove |

Remove the seat
from the car.

Cut off the cable tie securing the plastic cover and remove the cover on the inner side of the seat, 1 screw.

Undo the strap/straps securing the bottom of the backrest upholstery.
|
4. |
Cut off the cable ties (2 pcs.) and unplug the connectors.
|
5. |
Remove the airbag connector from the 29-pin connector.
|
6. |
Release the upholstery strips on the underside.
|
7. |
Pull out the cables through the hole in the upholstery.
|
8. |
Pull out the cardboard from the backrest upholstery.
|
9. |
Detach the back of the backrest upholstery by undoing the upholstery strips along the sides and fold back the upholstery.

10. |
Remove the knob for the lumbar support adjustment.
|
11. |
Release the upholstery strips along the back edge of the backrest frame.
|
12. |
Remove the screws from the armrest shaft. Keep all parts safe.
Pull out the armrest. |
13. |
Remove the padding.
|
14. |
Remove the bracket from the seat.
|
To fit |
1. |
Fit the bracket to the seat.
Tightening torque: 3.5 Nm (2.6 lbf ft)

Put the padding in place.
|
3. |
Mount the armrest in the holder.
|
4. |
Fit the armrest to the bracket.
Tightening torque: 3.5 Nm (2.6 lbf ft) |
5. |
Refit the backrest upholstery by fastening the strips along the sides.
|
6. |
Insert the cardboard in the backrest upholstery.
|
7. |
Insert the cables through the hole in the upholstery.
|
8. |
Replace the upholstery strips on the underside.
|
9. |
Secure the cables, fit the connections and fit the cable ties.
|
10. |
Fasten the strap/straps to the bottom of the backrest upholstery under the seat cushion.
|
11. |
Refit the knob for the lumbar support adjustment.
|
12. |
Fit the plastic cover to the inside of the seat.
|
13. |
Fasten the cable to the belt buckle with a cable tie with the joint facing down.
|
14. |
Fit the seat
into the car.
|
15. |
Connect the diagnostics tool and erase any diagnostic trouble codes.
