Remove the level plug (2). The oil should be level with the lower edge of the hole.

3. Drain plug


Oil type:

Saab synthetic manual gearbox oil, part no. 400 108 247.

Oil capacity:

When changing the oil: 1.8 litres.

Important

Saab synthetic manual gearbox oil is not miscible with other gearbox oils.


All plugs:

Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 lbf ft).

Important

Synthetic engine oil must not be used.
