Delete any diagnostic trouble codes in all the car's control modules. When Tech 2 is turned on, a short self-test is started. An image is then displayed with the heading “TECH 2” and the Saab logotype. Press “ENTER” to reach “Main Menu”. From the “Main Menu” the desired function can be selected.


• Connect the Tech 2 diagnostic tool to the data link connector under the steering wheel.

• Turn the ignition ON.

• Select Diagnostics

• Specify the desired model year

• Specify the desired vehicle type

• Select All

• Select Read/Clear all DTCs

• Diagnostic Strategy. Press OK

• Select Clear all DTC information

• Discontinue communication between Tech 2 and the car by pressing Exit

• Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
