Open the drain plug and drain the coolant. Unscrew the expansion tank filler cap to speed this up.

Detach the upper radiator hose from the expansion tank.

Unplug the level sensor connector.
|
|
| 4. |
Remove the attaching bolt for the expansion tank.
|
|
| 5. |
Lift up the expansion tank and detach the lower radiator hose.

Attach the lower radiator hose and refit the expansion tank.
|
|
| 2. |
Refit the expansion tank retaining bolt and plug in the level sensor connector (certain variants).

| 3. |
Attach the upper radiator hose.
|
|
| 4. |
Make sure that the radiator drain plug is tightened. Fill up with coolant and check the system for leaks.

| 5. |
Fill up and bleed the system as follows:

Fill the system up to the MAX level, fit the pressure cap, start the engine and warm it up at varying rpm until the radiator fan starts.

Switch off the engine and top up as necessary to the MAX level.
