The following conditions apply for the DTC in question:

The control module has detected a sufficient number of misfires.

Diagnostic help
Anything that causes misfiring can be the cause of the diagnostic trouble code, e.g. deviating combustion in one of the cylinders. This can be due to
|
•
|
leaking high-pressure fuel lines, (line between pump and injectors)
|
|
•
|
damaged pistons, cylinders or valves
|
|
•
|
mechanical fault in engine
|
|
•
|
blocked or leaking fuel bridges (applies to the tapered connection between the nozzles and the fuel bridges). See method for system integrity check,
