EVAP canister close valve

To remove



1. Raise the car and remove the front right wheel.

2. Remove the mudflap.

3. Remove the wheel arch liner.

Note

Loosen the rivets by pressing in the centre pin with a drift.


4. Undo the retaining screw securing the front of the wheel arch liner to the air shield and the retaining screw securing the wing arch liner to the bumper.


5. Release the wing arch liner snap fasteners from the front wing with a screwdriver and extract the liner from the wheel housing.

Important

Take care when removing the wing arch liner to avoid damaging paintwork.


6. Remove the close valve.



To fit



1. Fit the close valve.

2. Fit the wing arch liner into the wheel housing.


3. Fit the mudflap.

4. Lower the car and fit the wheel

Tightening torque: 110 Nm (80 lbf ft)
