Important

If a winding in the APC valve is short-circuited, the control module is probably also damaged and any new valves being fitted will be destroyed. Consequently, in case of a short circuit, the valve and the control module must both be changed at the same time.



1. Turn off the ignition.

2. Remove the glove box.

3. Fold back the carpet and remove the central locking system relay.


4. Unplug the connector and remove the control module.

Important

ESD-SENSITIVE COMPONENT

Ground yourself by touching the car body or engine before unplugging or plugging in the component. Never touch the connector pins. Prior to changing a control module refer to Before changing a control module .



To fit



1. Fit the control module.

2. Plug in the connector.

3. Fit the central locking system relay.


4. Refit the glove box.

5. Reset the immobilizer in the following way:

• Connect Tech2 and turn the ignition to ON

• Select Body and TWICE

• Select Immobilizing. The immobilizer will be programmed after about 10 seconds.
