Limited engine torque.
Knock Sensor Circuit. High Input, Bank 1.

Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:
•
|
Engine running and engine speed exceeding 800 rpm.
|
•
|
Engine coolant temperature exceeds 60°C.
|
•
|
Main relay voltage exceeding 11 V.
|
•
|
Fuel shut-off is active.
|
•
|
Knock voltage exceeding 2.00 V after sparking for 25 combustions.

Fault diagnosis concerns electrical fault in connecting leads or in the ignition discharge module.
Functions in the diagnostic tool related to the fault:

Note

The knock sensor function is an internal function in the ignition discharge module, there are no external sensors.

Checking the wiring
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short circuits. Observe the multimeter, diagnostic tool or test lamp during the check.
