Read the instructions below then
start the fault diagnostic procedure.
Symptom: CHECK ENGINE goes on after two driving cycles.
If the engine has misfired or failed to start, the fault can probably be located in the fuel pump.
O2S Heater Circuit. Current too Low, Sensor 1.

Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:
•

Engine running and output voltage below 2 V when output inactive. Condition fulfilled for 5 sec.
|
Or:
•
|
Preheating has been active for longer than 60 sec.
|
•
|
Current below 500 mA for 5 sec.
|
Diagnostic help
Fault diagnosis concerns an electrical fault in connecting leads or in the sensor.

Activate output for preheating.

Checking the wiring
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short circuits. Observe the multimeter, diagnostic tool or test lamp during the check.
