Symptom: CHECK ENGINE goes on immediately.
Throttle control in limp-home mode.
Idling speed incorrect.
Cruise control not working.
Throttle Position Sensor 1 and 2 Circuit. Sum Out of Range.

Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:
•

Ignition ON and the sum voltage from throttle position sensors 1 and 2 exceeds 5.70 V or is below 4.59 V.

Diagnostic help
Fault diagnosis concerns electrical fault in connecting leads or in one of the sensors.

Checking the wiring
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short circuits. Observe the multimeter, diagnostic tool or test lamp during the check.
