Speed-dependent volume
Speed-dependent volume |
General |
Automatic volume control which is controlled by the car's speed to compensate for background noise which occurs when the car is moving. The function is active at speeds over 60 km/h.
Function |
The main instrument unit (MIU) receives a speed signal from the ABS. The MIU sends the information out on the bus where it can be read by the main unit to control the volume. The level is raised as the speed increases, and lowered as the speed decreases.
