High-level brake light

To remove



1. Remove the strip above the rear window (inside the car).

2. Remove the two rubber plugs.

3. Unscrew the nuts holding the brake light.


4. Separate the connector.

5. Press the cover down.

6. Use a plastic spatula (or a screwdriver covered with tape) on the right of the rear window washer nozzle and carefully prise up the brake light.

7. Repeat this operation on the left side.

8. Lift up the lamp and put out the electrical lead.

9. Replace the unit.


To fit



1. Put the electrical lead back again and put the lamp unit back.

2. Take the lead out on the inside of the cover.

3. Fit the brake light unit in position.

4. Fit the lamp holder.

5. Lift the cover.

6. Tighten the nuts that hold the brake light.

7. Put back the two rubber plugs.


8. Put the strip back again above the rear window (inside the car).
