Adjusting the Temperature gauge
The engine temperature gauge is divided by 5 fixed “breakpoints”, of which 3 are adjustable.
•
Low-temp High - Breakpoint where the needle leaves the “blue” zone (works setting: 50°C).
•
Horizontal Low-temp - Breakpoint for the needle in horizontal position (works setting: 80°C).
•
Horizontal High-temp - Breakpoint where the needle leaves the horizontal position (works setting: 110°C).
•
High-temp Low - Breakpoint for the needle in the “red” zone (works setting: 119°C).
There are two ways of adjusting the engine temperature display depending on the fault symptom:
1.
Engine temperatures corresponding to the fixed breakpoints can be adjusted.
2.
The horizontal breakpoint (normal operating temperature) can be adjusted up/down.
The adjustment can be checked by activating with the diagnostic tool.
