The coolant temperature gauge gives the driver information on engine coolant temperature.
The coolant temperature gauge is powered and controlled from the main instrument unit.
EDC 15 sends information on the coolant temperature continuously to the bus.
The scale on the coolant temperature gauge is divided by 5 fixed breakpoints. The main instrument unit is programmed so that the gauge needle is directed to the fixed breakpoints at certain specified temperatures, giving a stable display at normal coolant temperatures.
The following breakpoints are programmed in the main instrument unit (works setting):
