Removing |

Remove the glove box. See

Remove the protective cover.

3. |
Remove both retaining bolts from the fan control.

Unplug the connector.

Plug in the connector.

Wipe old silicon paste off the evaporator's mounting surface.
Coat a thin layer of silicon paste, part No. 30 07 895, on the fan control's contact surface against the evaporator. This is important to ensure proper functioning and normal service life.

Fit the fan control in place, checking that its two sleeves enter the holes in the evaporator's mounting surface.
Screw the fan control in place. |
4. |
Refit the protective cover.

Put the glove box back in place. See

6. |
Calibrate the ACC-system by simultaneously pressing the buttons “AUTO” and “OFF”.
