start the fault diagnostic procedure.
Symptom: Experienced temperature in cabin is too high or too low compared to selected temperature.
Mixed-air sensor. Shorted to ground.
Mixed-air sensor. Open circuit/shorted to B+
Fault symptom
Experienced temperature in cabin is too high or too low compared to selected temperature.
Conditions
The following conditions apply:

Open circuit or short-circuit to B+.
|

Shorted to ground on pin.
|
|
•
|
Measured every 440 ms and 5 measurements in a row are required to generate a diagnostic trouble code.
|
|

|
The diagnostic trouble code is erased after ignition has been switched on 20 times if the problem conditions have not been fulfilled.
|
|
•
|
When the diagnostic trouble code is generated, the control module uses the replacement value which is based on the air-mixing damper relative opening multiplied by the coolant temperature.
|
