Place the car in an alignment bench and cross-measure as necessary.

Drill out the spot-welds.
|
|
| 3. |
Grind off the welds and remove the bumper bracket.
|

Align any deformed sheet metal or panels.
|

Grind down the welds on the body.
|
|
| 6. |
Grind clean the surfaces that are to be welded on the new bumper bracket.

Grind clean the surfaces that are to be welded on the body.
|

Apply welding primer on the surfaces to be spot-welded. Use Teroson Zinkspray.

| 9. |
Fit the bumper bracket and measure up the position using the aligning bench measuring system. Fasten with a couple of welds.

| 10. |
Fit the bumper and check the bumper bracket position.
|
|
| 11. |
Seam-weld the bumper bracket.
|
|
| 12. |
Apply a spot weld as illustrated.
|

| 13. |
Grind the welds.
|
|
| 14. |
Remove remaining welding primer. Welding primer will reduce adhesion for paint, filler and sealant.

Apply primer to all bare metal surfaces. Use Standox 1K Fullprimer.

| 16. |
Apply anti-corrosion agent internally after painting. Use Terotex HV 400 or Mercasol 1.
