Soft Top Valve 1, #5 bow DOWN. Short to Ground


Fault symptom

Soft top cannot be operated. SID shows message SOFT TOP FAILURE.

Condition

Internal malfunction in valve, short circuit in activating coil.

Diagnostic procedure

There is communication on the VR-bus as long as there is +54 current. This DTC is generated if there is an internal malfunction in the valve.
