Remove the gas spring from the ball joint on the boot lid.

Remove the clip from the gas spring mounting in the side panel.

Remove the gas spring from the ball joint.

Fit the gas spring on the ball joint by the side panel.
|

| 2. |
Press on the clip.

| 3. |
Fit the gas spring on the ball joint by the boot lid.
