There are two different procedures, A and B, depending on the model year and VIN.
A Weather seal fastened with butyl tape in B-pillar trim radius

1. |
Open the door and remove the scuff plate and door weather seal.

Remove any remains of the butyl tape from the B-pillar trim.

Fit the new weather seal. Start in the top rear corner with the colour marking in the centre of the radius.
Fit the rest of the seal. |
4. |
Wash off the colour marking with water.

B Weather seal fastened with plastic plug in B-pillar trim radius
1. |
Open the door and remove the scuff plate.

2. |
Remove the plastic plug securing the door weather seal to the top rear corner of the B-pillar trim and remove the door weather seal.

Position the new weather seal with the colour marking towards the roof just where the radius starts.

4. |
Make a 5 mm hole, 8 mm in from the edge of the lip, to correspond with the hole in the B-pillar trim.

Fit the plastic plug.

6. |
Fit the rest of the seal.
|
7. |
Wash off the colour marking with water.
|
8. |
Fit the sill scuff plate.
