Removing


1. Drain the refrigerant from the A/C system, see Filling and draining refrigerant with Robinair Smart Cart 10324 Robinair 17234 .

2. Remove the grille.

3. Remove the bolts holding the pipes for the receiver.

4. Remove the bolt securing the receiver to the holder on the condenser.

5. Lift up the receiver.

6. Plug the openings.


Fitting



1. Fill with compressor oil in the pipe to the receiver, see Filling and adjusting compressor oil .

2. Fit the receiver in the holder.

3. Fit new O-rings on the pipes for the receiver. Lubricate the O-rings with synthetic vaseline.

4. Fit the pipes and tighten the bolts.

Tightening torque: 9 Nm (6.6 lbf ft).

5. Tighten the bolt securing the receiver on the condenser.

6. Vacuum pump the A/C system and fill with refrigerant, see Filling and draining refrigerant with Robinair Smart Cart 10324 Robinair 17234 .

7. Refit the grille.
