Raise the car and remove the right-hand air shield. Viggen: front air shield.

Detach the oil hoses at the adapter housing and remove the oil pipe to the turbocharger. Remove the oil filter.

3.

Remove the adapter housing.
|
|

Clean the sealing surfaces and oil the O-ring. Apply flange sealant, part no. 93 21 795, and fit the adapter housing.

|
Connect the oil seals and the pipe to the turbocharger (turbo).
Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 lbf ft)

4.
|
Make sure the oil plug is tight, fit the oil filter and the air shields. Lower the car.
Tightening torques:
Oil filter: 10 Nm (7 lbf ft)

5.
|
Fill up with motor oil, warm up the engine and check for leaks.
