Read the instructions below then start the fault diagnostic procedure.

Symptom: The CHECK ENGINE lamp (MIL) comes on

P0131,P0132, P0134


O2S Circuit. Low Voltage. Bank 1, Sensor 1.

O2S Circuit. High Voltage. Bank 1, Sensor 1.

O2S Circuit. No Activity Detected, Bank 1, Sensor 1.


Fault symptoms

The CHECK ENGINE lamp (MIL) comes on

Conditions

Voltage lower then 0.04 Volts for at least 25 seconds when the engine temperature exceeds 70°C (158°F)

or

Voltage higher then 1.1 Volts for at least 1 second when the engine temperature exceeds 70°C (158°F)

or

Voltage fixed between 0.40-0.55 Volts for at least 1 second when the engine temperature exceeds 70°C (158°F)

Note

If the oxygen sensor is faulty, the control module attains a fixed signal voltage of 0.5 Volts.
